I am a licensed Amateur Radio Operator.  I normally operate on 80M, 40M, 2M, and 70CM bands.

I fully encourage anyone interested in radio to obtain a license and get on the air. It is an excellent hobby.  I myself have a modest setup.  Many avid “HAMS” have radio shacks with racks full of equipment!
